Slate-Ish is the alternative to stone & ceramic tile products made from the post industrial waste of paper laminate. These paper laminates are made from FSC certified paper or recycled paper and are used for countertops, cutting boards, skateboard ramps, and in various manufacturing processes. Trimmings from manufacturer and fabricator processing are remanufactured into tile for wall and floor applications. Product sizes and styles are designed around the size and shape of the waste material that is available. Production requires very little energy to process raw scrap into finished goods. The product it is non porous and is not sourced from mines as traditional stone mosaics are.
